From Beaches to Business, Sydney Has it All

From the glitz and glamour of the Star City Casino and trendy King Street Wharf in Darling Harbor to the waves of the Northern beaches, Sydney is full of great restaurants, bars and shopping.

Sail under the iconic Harbor Bridge on a ferry and take in a world class performance at the Sydney Opera House. Circular Quay is also home to the exquisite waterside Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Sydney Tower is the highest point on the skyline and offers a restaurant with panoramic views.

Whether it's the quirky King Street in Newtown or the elegance of the Woollahra, travelling outside of the center uncovers each suburb's distinct flavor. The famous Bondi Beach is the starting point of a walk along the cliffs to the equally photogenic beaches of Bronte and Coogee.

Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport is the main gateway to this capital city and only a short distance from the city center. From a dorm bed in King’s Cross to a 5-star, serviced apartment in the central business district, Sydney Tourism will ensure you don’t miss the excitement in this dynamic city down under.

10 The waterfront was pristine and beautifully presented.
The waterfront was pristine and beautifully presented. I thought there should have been more restaurant options but what was there was certainly quality. The people were lovely and the ease of using the public transport for ferry or train was outstanding. We had a wonderful experience. We loved Bondi Beach but was disappointed with almost every restaurant selling burger and fries. Thank you Sydney

The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Circular Quay, The Rock areas are so cozy and nice! I wish if we could have more time to enjoy the sunlight and winds there. There are many zoos and wildlife sanctuary there, we had lovely photos with Koala, and had very nice experiences for the Penguin Parade!

Sydney is a beautiful place, the location of our accommodation was excellent to get to both circular quay and darling harbour on foot. The accomodation itself was below standard. I demanded the basics that were missing like dish sponge, tea towels and bath mats as it didn’t have any of these things. The light did not work as the globe had blown and WE had to take one out of a different light to get it working. The accomodation building was under renovation and an open for inspection was conducted during our stay which we didn’t have handily any warning about this until midnight the night before we arrived. The manager of the accomodation did his best to provide what he could quickly and I thank him for that. However, I too agree that a better cleaning crew needs to be found as the stove, back splash, microwave and all vanities had not been cleaned at all and I could not and would not use them as I shouldn’t have to clean them.

Our hotel, Sir Stamford Circular Quay was perfect for walking to Opera House, wharfs, restaurants along the wharf area and The Rocks and Royal Botanical Gardens right across the street. Sydney is one of the cleanest, most beautiful cities we have visited and the people are very friendly. Getting around the city was very easy. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go including to the wharfs where we caught ferries to Manly and Watson's Bay. From Watson's Bay its a quick and easy to use bus to Bondi Beach. Opal card is best way to pay for bus and ferry rides.

I loved my stay at the Little National. I had stayed in similar ‘little’ hotels in London so was pleasantly surprised at how large the room was and the super king-sized bed was incredible! Loved the smart features for lights and blinds. I order Uber Eats a number of times and food was brought up to my room with a cutlery pack straight away. I arrived at 10.30am and was fortunate a room was ready. Location was perfect as it’s right above Wynyard Station, very convenient to get to and from the airport.

Our 3 bedroom apartment really was an oasis on the water. The accommodations were excellent. Beautiful view. Modern appliances. Wifi. TV Apps. Everything was not-notch. Shopping, food court, and parking onsite. 2-minute walk to the ferry landing and to public transportation to Olympic Park. Our check-in process went smoothly with personal walk-through and explanation of appliances, security, and onsite amenities. Of the ten apartments and hotels we had on this vacation, this one was by far the best!

Front of office staff couldn't do enough to help me. Of particular note was the lady who checked me out on the Sunday. She was extremely pleasant, remembered my name, looked after my bags whilst we attended a seminar after checking out, arranged airport taxis, remembered my name again and made the effort to say goodbye with a warm genuine smile! I said to my son at the time how lovely and helpful she was and we both agreed it makes you want to come back again.

Great hotel location at Sydney International Airport for early morning flight. Car parking directly next to the hotel. Room was spacious and bed & pillows were very comfortable. Staff at check in and check out we’re very friendly and super efficient. Great bar, where food can be purchased and eaten, along with a refreshing drink. Great atmosphere to get you into holiday mode. Recommend anyone to stay here. Location can’t be beaten and represents good value.

The Hotel is right at Bus Stops in both directions for the 525 and 526 bus routes, providing good access to Olympic Park Station (within comfortable walking distance for the younger and fitter!). Also for the younger and fitter, most of the major sporting venues are within 15 minutes walk - ANZ Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Showground, Hockey, Aquatic, Netball and Athletics Centres and Ken Rosewall Arena (Tennis).

This hotel is located close to both Circular Quay (15 min walk or 5 min train on George Street) and Darling Harbour (10 min walk). It’s also a short walk from the train stop coming in from the airport. It was a good sized room, clean and well equipped. Be aware that the lobby to this hotel is located on the 8th floor by lift. You then take another lift to your room.

The staff were exceptional and genuinely caring. Most Sydney hotels are recovering from two years of pandemic trade restrictions. Generally Australians need to step up and become more productive I think we have been sitting at home too much and we have become lazy. Room cleanliness in all hotels I have stayed at in Australia is not was it was pre Covid.

After flying into Sydney following 2 weeks away I wanted to see a play at Surry Hills so booked into the Travelodge at the Airport. It was so convenient to get to after picking up my car from the long term parking. I caught the train to Central to see the play, which was also very convenient and a short walk from the hotel to Mascot train station.

Great modern and well appointed property. Great scenic location under Sydney harbour bridge. Nice outdoor bar area over looking the harbour/water. Close 5 minute walk to The Rocks and Circular Quay. Wilson parking stations are very easy walk and close to the hotel. One of the cleanest well presented hotels I have stayed in.
